Application cases of Wodon CCO Wear Liner Plates in the Coal Conveying Field

In coal transportation scenarios such as coal mines, power plants, and ports, the coal drop pipe is a core device that connects the unloading at a higher position to the transportation at a lower position. However, traditional coal drop pipes commonly encounter problems such as frequent coal blockages, rapid wear, excessive dust, and material impact on the equipment. These issues not only seriously affect the transportation efficiency but also significantly increase the operation and maintenance costs and safety risks.

In response to these industry pain points, Wodon, relying on its mature processing technology for wear resistant materials, has customized and produced two batches of high-quality curved coal drop pipes by using CCO wear plates and smooth CCO wear plates respectively, based on the working conditions and budget standards of different customers. This one-stop solution effectively resolves problems such as coal blockage, severe wear, and excessive dust during transportation.

The inner wall of this batch of coal drop pipes is coated with a high-chromium wear resistant layer, with a hardness of about 65HRC, which greatly enhances the wear resistance and can withstand the continuous erosion of materials. It is well welded and formed, and after installation, it seamlessly connects with the conveying system, effectively avoiding material jamming caused by structural deformation. It has a low maintenance frequency and a significantly extended service life, from the traditional 3-6 months to over 12 months, making the operation and maintenance costs more advantageous. With its outstanding comprehensive performance, Wodon CCO wear plates have become the cost-effective choice for many coal enterprises.

This batch of coal drop pipes adopts the new smooth CCO wear plates launched by Wodon this year. It is made by an integrated forming process, with no weld bead protrusions on the inner wall and no visible cracks on the surface. The inner wall is extremely smooth, and the friction coefficient is low. This means that coal slime loses its adhesion points on the wall, and the coal blockage rate drops significantly. As the material does not have intense friction with the pipe wall, the dust concentration at the production and transportation site is also reduced, meeting environmental protection requirements. It is particularly suitable for transportation scenarios with high requirements for conveying efficiency and environmental protection standards, and is an upgraded choice for high-demand scenarios.

Today, Wodon's wear parts  and wear liners have covered multiple industries such as mining, coal, and cement. From middle troughs, chutes to coal drop pipes and liners, they all can help customers reduce operation and maintenance costs and improve production efficiency with the core advantages of "excellent material, precise craftsmanship, and accurate matching".

In the future, Wodon will continue to focus on the innovation of wear resistant materials and the upgrading of processing techniques. We will address the transportation pain points of different industries and create more customized solutions!
