+86 15720600046Wodon has been deeply engaged in the field of wear materials for over 20 years. With mature technology and stable quality, we have served numerous clients in industries such as mining, steel, coal, and cement. During the process of communicating with our clients, we have found that they often encounter various selection questions before making a purchase. Today, we will review these frequently asked typical questions, hoping to help you choose products that are more precisely adapted to your working conditions!
What is the maximum size of the plates for Wodon's CCO wear plates?

Wodon's CCO wear plates come in multiple types, each with corresponding standard plate sizes.
WD1000 series CCO wear plates: 1400*3500 and 1500*3000
WD1100 series CCO wear plates: 1500*3000
WD1200 series and WD1500 series CCO wear plates: 1400*3500 and 2100*3500
WD1900 series smooth CCO wear plates: 1000*3000 and 1200*3000
All other sizes are custom-made.
What is the thickness range of Wodon's CCO wear plates?
The common CCO wear plates of the WD1000 and WD1100 series have a base plate thickness of 4.5 - 100mm and a overlayer thickness of 2 - 50mm.
The high-chromium CCO wear plates of the WD1200 and WD1500 series have a base plate thickness of 4.5 - 100mm and a overlayer thickness of 4 - 50mm.
The WD1900 series smooth CCO wear plates have a base plate thickness of 6 - 20mm and a overlayer thickness of 6 - 20mm.
What is the hardness of Wodon's CCO wear plates?

The hardness of the ordinary wear-resistant composite steel plates of the WD1000 and WD1100 series is 58-65HRC.
The hardness of the high-chromium wear-resistant composite steel plates of the WD1200 and WD1500 series is 58-65HRC.
The hardness of the wear-resistant smooth composite plates of the WD1900 series is 55-65HRC.
The hardness of the WD-NC100 series composite crack-free wear-resistant plates is 45-55HRC.
What are the components of Wodon's CCO wear plates?
Wodon uses wear-resistant surfacing welding wires or powder metallurgy cladding technology to deposit one or more layers of wear-resistant alloys containing a large amount of chromium carbide hard particles on medium and low carbon steel base plates. The main components of wear-resistant composite steel plates are C and Cr. According to different working conditions, special elements such as Mo, Mn, Si, W, V, and Nb can be added to improve the high-temperature resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and other properties of the product.
What are the cutting methods of Wodon's CCO wear plates?

There are three processing methods: plasma cutting (for wear-resistant surface cutting), hand-held plasma cutting, and laser cutting. Currently, except for the factory in Cangzhou, Hebei, Wodon mainly uses laser cutting, with the maximum cutting thickness being around 60mm. The cutting accuracy is ±1mm for plates under 30mm, ±1.5mm for plates between 30mm and 40mm, and ±2mm for plates between 40mm and 60mm.
When bending Wodon's CCO wear plates, what is the maximum thickness of the plates that can be bent?

Wodon's factories in Tianjin, Jiangsu, and Hebei have a total of nearly 20 Multi-functional bending machines, with a maximum rolling force of up to 850 tons. The rolling capabilities vary among different factories, and the maximum plate thickness that can be rolled is usually between 30mm and 35mm. Depending on the diameter of the upper roller of the pipe rolling machine, the maximum plate width that can be rolled is between 2000mm and 2500mm.
The minimum outer diameter that can be rolled varies significantly depending on the specifications of the wear plates, the length of the shape, and whether the wear-resistant layer is on the inside or outside. For specific data, please consult the sales specialist and determine based on the actual pipe rolling limit of each factory.
The above are the six frequently asked questions about the selection of wear-resistant plates that Wodon has sorted out for everyone. In the future, we will continue to delve into the dry goods of wear-resistant materials, unlock more matching techniques for different working conditions, cost calculation methods, installation and maintenance points, etc., to help everyone make efficient purchases and reduce costs while increasing efficiency.
